Patience

Have realised that I am not a patient person at all. Waiting for our lovely baby girl is slowly driving me crazy. Made me realise that I like to have every thing in order and hate not knowing. Think she is already teaching me to be patient.

After 2 days of being at home and cleaning every thing around me I have come back to work this morning. At least being around people keeps me busy and I really have missed the people I work with even though its only been 2 days. This afternoon Andrea is taking her kids swimming so I am going, maybe that will help her come out.

Update

Just letting you know that the baby still hasn't arrived. Baby Dillon is due tomorrow, so have decided she is either on English time or Malaysian time. If English on time if Malaysian will take her time!!

Happy Easter

Back to work today after 2 days off. Funny we get a public holiday for Mohammads birthday and then the next day is public holiday for Good Friday!! Missing the Easter eggs this year, could do with eating all that chocolate.

Well tomorrow I am 40 weeks pregnant and still no sign of baby. I think she is stubborn like her mum and will only do things in her own time. All though I was touched by a comment Jo made the other day about making the most of this time just being me and her.

Future

Watched a video that dad had done yesterday of the recent trip to France. Was cool to see all familiar places and people again. What really touched me was a collage that the youth in Herne Bay did many years ago is still kept by the french youth.

Been thinking a lot about England, France and the future at the moment. Makes a change from thinking and talking about the baby all the time. Curious how the next few years are gonna go really. There is a sense where both Cassy and I want to go back to England at some point but not sure how it's going to happen. Just got to trust God and look out for opportunities I guess.

Any suggestions??

After drinking loads of raspberry leaf tea, walking around shopping malls, eating pineapple and dragon fruit still no sign of baby coming...

Time Out

So still no sign of baby. Although I am not looking forward to the process of her coming out I am however excited about seeing her and having the time off from work.

I am so looking forward to the 2 months break, although I know it will be filled with other things and not exactly a holiday. I just think I need a break from the environment I am in at the moment.

Lasagne

Funny how the simpliest of things can turn a bad day better for me. After a disappointing visit to the doctors, being turned down for a car loan and a frustrating meeting about the youth I basically had enough of it all. Then my lovely friend Andrea phoned me up to say she had cooked me a Lasagne. Just what I needed the comforting taste of food from England (well Italy really).

Good food really cheers this pregnant lady up. Although I'm sure a Jack and coke would have tasted even better.

When?

So our lovely little baby girl has decided that she doesn't want to be engaged any more and her head is facing up to me which makes it a more difficult birth!! I'm sure every thing will be ok but I just want it over and done with now. Think I'm gonna drink more raspberry leaf tea and get out walking more.

Come on girl, get a move on...

Getting Bigger

A Fresh Start

So after using blog-city for so long I have decided for a change. Well they decided I had to pay so I have gone for the cheaper option. So I am starting a fresh with this blog.

So we are on baby countdown at the moment, she could arrive at any moment. Thanks to Jo I am drinking loads of Raspberry Leaf Tea and hoping it does the trick.
